About Me

I am Wendy, a 40 something wife and mother who has discovered a new lease of life since beginning my blog in October 2010.

I am enjoying the luxury of being a Stay at Home Mum (although my husband prefers "Kept Woman"!) with a beautiful little boy Freddy born in 2009 to keep me on my toes.  I also have another four wonderful children.  Joe (1988) lives with his fiancee in Northampton and Megan (1991) is away at the University of Manchester studying Business and Management. It makes me so proud to have grown-up children forging their own paths into the big wide world!  Ella (1996) is my lovely teenaged guitarist and songstress and Kizzy (2002) is my comedian and ray of sunshine.

I am also a proud Grandma to baby Ted born in December 2012 to my eldest son and his fiancee.

My lovely husband and self-confessed technophile and lover of big TVs, Blu-Rays and Surround Sound is Ian.  Also a keen guitarist and writer of my very own love song "Hey Wendy!"  We were childhood sweethearts and have been married since 1997

Together, we have a pretty amazing life full of fun, love and laughter. 

I love writing,  blogging, vlogging, photography and enjoy reviewing products with my team of Tiny Testers.
