| Green Cleaning |
EcoForce is range of practical and effective household products made from recycled materials, that are greener, more eco-friendly and more sustainable than any other alternatives on the market.
The range includes recycled sponges, scourers, cloths and dusters for all green cleaning requirements, recycled pegs, pegbasket and clothes line for eco-friendly laundry drying and recycled food bag grips for storing left overs. EcoForce's award winning products do not compromise on quality or price and offer an ethical choice when it comes to buying household goods. All products are made from at least 90% recycled waste here in the UK. We all need to clean so why not do it the green way and use recycled products that are just as good, if not better, than counterparts made from virgin materials yet don't harm the environment!
There's also Dishmatic - a clever little device that comprises a hollow handle and sponge scourer head. Simply fill the handle with washing up liquid and it dispenses as you clean. Dishmatic is made from recycled components and helps reduce dishwasher usage. It's great for cleaning pots and pans, and washing up a few things when you don't want to use the dishwasher. At only £1.33 Dishmatic is good value and lasts for years. When the head is worn down simply replace with a new one.
EcoForce and Dishmatic are widely available in most supermarkets as well as Oxfam, Homebase, B & Q and on line.
Review
I was sent a selection of the EcoForce and Dishmatic products to try out.
The range is really extensive and it is great to see so many environmentally friendly products made using recycled materials. The Pegs are made from 93% recycled plastic and are moulded in one piece. They are hurricane safe and very tough and come in a useful peg basket! The Recycled Washing Line can be used to air dry your laundry. It is the greenest way to dry your clothes, using no electricity and it costs nothing! (All you need is some good weather!)
The Bag Grips are brilliant for keeping food fresh. Made from 93% recycled plastic they are strong, freezer safe and washable. They are really useful for bagging up left over food ensuring no waste!
The Dishmatic is a really novel washing up tool that means your Dishwasher may become redundant. You simply fill up the handle with washing-up liquid and use it to clean pans and dishes. Interchangeable heads can be used for heavy duty cleaning jobs. It is easy to use, efficient and makes short work of the dishes.
The other scourers, sponges, cloths and dusters are all made using recycled materials. Each product is made to be perfect for its task and work really well. There is no compromising on quality just because they are made from recycled products, so you can have a clean house...and a clean conscience!
EcoForce and Dishmatic have kindly agreed to provide an amazing green cleaning hamper for one of my readers to win, worth £50!

Dry on the line, definitely. Although, it would be handy to have a tumble dryer too, especially with this English "summer!"
ReplyDeletei love to dry mine on the line, shame its been so rainly this summer!!
ReplyDeleteI like to line dry but at the minute have no line up. My tumble dryer died earlier this year and we won't be replacing it
ReplyDeleteDry my own! Tumble dryers cost a fortune to run! Washing line is best -- though haven't had much of a chance this Summer!
ReplyDeleteLine dry, then you can guarantee most things won't shrink up, unllike putting them in the tumble dryer!
ReplyDeleteI have tried several eco force products and been impressed with all of them. I especially liked the dishmatic.
ReplyDeleteLine dry every time
ReplyDeleteLine Dry
ReplyDeleteline dry
ReplyDeletei usuall tumble dry
ReplyDeleteline dry
ReplyDeleteLine dry
ReplyDeleteLine Dry Every Time - think of all the money you waste running a tumble dryer when the wind and sun are a free source of energy xxx
ReplyDeleteI always line dry or use the maiden in the house. I think the recycled material for making the pegs is a great idea and no metal to rust on my washing.
ReplyDeleteline dry it smells so good and outdoorsy
ReplyDeleteI much prefer to line dry clothes -you get that beautiful fresh air smell to all your clothes. Plus it cost a fortune to use a tumble drier with 6 of us it would be on constantly!
ReplyDeleteI prefer to line dry, could do with a bit more sun though.
ReplyDeleteLine dry - but not much chance with the weather the way it is :-(
ReplyDeleteTumble dry. Years ago I used to put my washing on the line outside, but my neighbours, both sides, liked having bonfires on a Saturday morning!
ReplyDeletetumble dry - I love my tumble dryer it facilitates family life @MummyFever
ReplyDeleteLine dry as it smells alot fresher, and it doesn't cost anything.
ReplyDeleteLine dry, although that's not always possible! You can't beat washing hung out to dry. It smells so much fresher.
ReplyDeleteI always line dry, I don't have a tumble dryer but even if I did I wouldn't use it because I don't think you can beat that lovely fresh air smell on your clothes
ReplyDeleteAlthough more expensive I like to tumble dry as it's quicker.
ReplyDeletea bit of both, try to hang it out to get half dry & finish off in tumbler to save a few pennies & makes it softer :)
ReplyDeleteI have to tumble dry because I live in a flat with no garden and electric heaters which aren't very good at drying clothes. I would use a line if I had one though, I think the clothes end up smelling a lot better and having less creases.
ReplyDeleteLine dry, though it is handy to have the tumble dryer for last minute emergencies!
ReplyDeletei line dry whenever possible x
ReplyDeleteline dry smells much nicer
ReplyDeleteline dry fingers crossed for no rain
ReplyDeletetumble dry
ReplyDeleteLine dry but sometimes the weather does not permit.
ReplyDeleteLine Dry - it's cheaper!
ReplyDeleteLine dry , the clothes smell fresh, the tumble dryer is too expensive , and so many clothes can't be tumble dried anyway as they shrink.
ReplyDeletei line dry whenever possible
ReplyDeleteDry line for me!
ReplyDeleteLine dry if it's possible!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a tumble dryer, so it's line drying for me. Which is great apart from when we have loads of rain.
ReplyDeleteI'd always line dry - just wish our summer weather would allow it!
ReplyDeleteLine dry, the clothes are so much better than when its tumble dried
ReplyDeleteI love line dried clothes! But the combination of incessant rain and 2 special needs kids makes the tumble dryer a must :(
ReplyDeleteIts kinder to the environment and they smell fresher!
ReplyDeleteLine dry
ReplyDeleteI line dry weather permitting - except for towels which always end up like cardboard if not tumble dried
ReplyDeleteMorning, "LINE DRY", IN THIS MONSOON SUMMER, WE HAVE HAD TO RESORT TO TUMBLE
ReplyDeleteLine Dry
ReplyDeleteI prefer line dry clothes but can't do it much with the weather as it is.
ReplyDeleteLine dry every time!
ReplyDeleteI much prefer line drying - not only does it save energy and much needed cash... But it also smells deliscious after drying in the sunshine - love it :)
ReplyDeleteline dry every time feel better and smells better
ReplyDeleteI love line dried clothes, I grew up in South Africa and took for granted all those hot sunny days! I was also too young to appreciate the washing pile!
ReplyDeleteLine dry - better for the environment and my electricity bill! Also smells much nicer!
ReplyDeleteI much prefer to line dry given half a chance
ReplyDeleteline dry is best I think!
ReplyDeleteI do neither - hang it over the aga!
ReplyDeleteWe dont have a tumble dryer - so we dont have a choice...
ReplyDeleteline dry ;-)
ReplyDeleteLine dry (using a clothes horse) which i put out in the back garden.
ReplyDeleteI love to line dry my clothes - i love the fresh smell you get from doing so!
ReplyDeleteprefer to line dry but with all the bad weather we've been having a tad hard to get done. Nice day today but wouldn't you know it tumble dryed everything last week.
ReplyDeleteI dont even have a tumble dryer, so its line dry for me. I adore the smell of fresh laundry on the line x
ReplyDeleteLine dry - but come on lets dry out the rain!
ReplyDeleteLine dry every time! It comes out so much fresher, and crisper! You can't beat it!
ReplyDeletetumble dry every time,my clothes come out softer
ReplyDeleteLine dry. My tumble dryer blew up in November 2009 and I vowed that if I could go one winter without it, I wouldn't replace it (We're a family of 6 >.<). Here we are nearly 3 years later, with a much lighter electric bill!
ReplyDeleteI prefer tumble dry sometimes I forget about watching for the rain
ReplyDeleteWe refuse to have a tumble dryer due to the environmental impact, so line drying all the way here :o)
ReplyDeleteI line dry everything 99% of the time! I love the smell of fresh, air-dried clothes :)
ReplyDeleteLine dry for us.
ReplyDeleteline dry
ReplyDeleteLine dry - when it stops raining!
ReplyDeleteWe have never had a dryer - always on the line. I dont think I could justify the cost of one when you can dry them for free on the line! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'd always prefer to dry on the line and we study the weather forecast to plan wash days! I like the softness of clothes that have been tumble dried, but I like the smug satisfaction of free drying thats better for the environment and hanging washing out is something I find quite a nice thing to do...its like time out!
ReplyDeletetumble dry, it is just so much easier
ReplyDeletetumble dry! c.childs@live.co.uk
ReplyDeleteAh, I'm too environmentally friendly to own a tumble dryer - washing line every time for me!!
ReplyDeletedefinately line dry
ReplyDeleteLine Dry But not had much chance this summer :)
ReplyDeleteLine dry every time
ReplyDeleteLine dry
ReplyDeleteI prefer clothes line, but this summer has been tumble drier
ReplyDeleteLine dry here :)
ReplyDeletenot very eco friendly but i tumble dry everything. well we have to in this weather!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I do neither! I live in a flat so, no clothes line, and Ive only just got a washing machine! I use a clothes horse in the house and open the windows. Works perfectly :) xxx
ReplyDeleteI prefer to tumble dry, when you take the washing out and fold it while its still warm, you save yourself a huge load of ironing.
ReplyDeletei have to line dry as i dont have a tumble dryer xx
ReplyDeleteLIne dry definitely. Better for the environment and the purse and I find line drying takes the creases out better.
ReplyDeleteOh god line dry! The smell! :o) lush! (Wish the weather agreed tho!)
ReplyDeleteline dry is better but just impossible in this rain!
ReplyDeleteLine dry, or if it's raining hang over the radiators - hate tumble dryers!
ReplyDeleteI do both, dont need to iron after tumble drying lol x
ReplyDeleteI dont do either - everything goes on airer over bath (windows open during summer) and radiator on during winter - why have the outside smell nice when u can have the inside of ur house smell gorgeous - thats just my opinion tho xx
ReplyDeleteIm a bit funny on this 1 I like to dry my washing on the line but if its towels i will dry them on the line then pop them in the tumble for a few mins to fluff them up lol :)
ReplyDeleteClothes to be line dried, but towels in the tumble dry come out all fluffy
ReplyDeleteI prefer to dry mine on the line but with this weather lately... the drier has had a lot more use :(
ReplyDeleteI prefer to tumble dry only because of the ease and you don't have to worry about the weather.
ReplyDeleteI dry my clothes inside, on a clothes horse. I'd hang them outside but I'd need to run down three flights of stairs and then up again (I know good exercise!) - not very practical in the changeable British climate.... Mind in this weather, there'd be no dry time for hanging outside any way!
ReplyDeleteI prefer to line dry
ReplyDeletei like to dry my linen outside. there is nothing better than seeing a line full of clothes blowing in the wind.
ReplyDeleteI prefer tumble drying my towels but everything else line dry! :)
ReplyDeleteLine dry for me, but there has not been much of that lately
ReplyDeletei prefer line dry
ReplyDeleteLine dry :)
ReplyDeleteLine dry unless in a real hurry then I am guilty of a quick tumble.
ReplyDeleteWithout a garden, I tend to just use the clothes drying screen....would love an outdoor line though.
ReplyDeleteAir Dry -- More money for the next holiday
ReplyDeleteline dry :)
ReplyDeleteLove to line dry, but in a rush or when it's raining you just have to tumble dry.
ReplyDeletei prefer to line dry, i prefer how it dries. Also, it is a lot cheaper (FREE!) and better for the environment!
ReplyDeleteI definitely prefer to line dry, there's nothing better than looking out the window to a line of washing.
ReplyDeletei line dry whenever possible x
ReplyDeletei like to line dry x
ReplyDeleteTumble dry because everything's so much softer.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to line dry ... mainly because we don't have a tumble dryer :-)
ReplyDeleteA bit of both really, tumble for convenience, but nothing beats seeing laundry flapping in the wind :)
ReplyDeleteWe've never tumble dried our clothes so when we got a new washing machine we didn't bother getting a dryer
ReplyDeleteLine dry, something satisfying about seeing your washing hanging out to dry
ReplyDelete@littleboo_21
got ocd so would lv this, lol
ReplyDeleteLine dry :)
ReplyDeleteI get great satisfaction putting the clothes on the line. Less energy wasted and it also means that the sun is out!
ReplyDeleteLine dry. I love to see it blowing merrily in the wind - it gives me a sense of satisfaction. Plus it smells fresher and is more economical and environmentally firendly
ReplyDeletehas to be line dried, you just dont get the same smell when it's tumbled!
ReplyDeleteLine dry, tumble dry messes up my clothes
ReplyDeleteline dry
ReplyDeleteBoth really, in summer I line dry to save energy and because I love the fresh smell, but if it's got to be quick then I tumble dry.
ReplyDeleteNever used a tumble dryer before. Either it's outside if the weather's fine or on the clothes horse if it's not
ReplyDeleteLine dry gives me a great feeling of satisfaction watching it all fluttering in the wind @Bobbity666
ReplyDeleteline dry, love the smell of line dried clothes
ReplyDeleteDefinitely line dry - it's ego friendly and the washing smells so fresh and lovely, and for eco reasons I don't even own a tumble dryer!
ReplyDeleteI do a combination of both. Line dry till dry then soften with a little time in the tumble dryer so I don't have to iron :)
ReplyDeleteI don't own a tumble drier so do have to line dry, which on the whole I would prefer. Whilst a tumble drier is handy in bad weather or in an emergency, I have found in the past that you can only dry certain items because some clothes can be ruined. Also clothes tend to get more creased, whereas on the line they are blown out
ReplyDeleteALWAYS HANG ON THE LINE -
ReplyDeleteI like to line dry unless I need it urgently or weather is awful
ReplyDeleteLine dry when possible!
ReplyDeleteI prefer line drying, it's better for the environment and cheaper.
ReplyDeleteDepends on so many things! Tshirts have to be line or radiator dried because they shrink in the tumbler, but it's a nightmare in the summer rain, too warm for radiators! The rest, I love to see it all blowing on the line, and it smells fab too!
ReplyDeleteline dry
ReplyDeleteI have always had a tumbledryer, but haven't used it for years now.
ReplyDeleteIt's just too expensive to run nowadays.
Line dry - better for the environment
ReplyDeleteDefinitely line dry!
ReplyDeleteLine dry, I have lavender plants near my washing line, so the clothes smell lovely.
ReplyDeleteIf the line can be used, it is preferred
ReplyDeleteAt least you will get no spiders in your washing :)
ReplyDeletegreat review
ReplyDeleteHit send to quick! I prefer to dry on the line ~ I got rid of my tumbledrier
ReplyDeleteWhat a magical prize ! With all this help my home will look great !
ReplyDeleteI don't own a tumble dryer and I love the smell of line dried clothes
ReplyDeleteDon't have a tumble drier, couldn't afford to use it if I did. Most of the time I'm happy with line drying, like the freshness. Tumble driers do make towels fluffy and are handy for emergencies.
ReplyDeleteLine dry - it's handy to have a dryer too though. Great giveaway1
ReplyDeleteLine dry all the time.
ReplyDeleteThis would help!
ReplyDeleteType your comment here.line drying is best
ReplyDeleteline dry, much cheaper
ReplyDeleteI line dry when the weather allows - otherwise I dry on an airer inside. I do have a tumble dried but I haven't used for probably nearly a year now!!
ReplyDeleteI Love to Line Dry mine they smell so much fresher, however i do like to Tumble Dry my Towels
ReplyDeleteI line dry most of the time, will only use tumble drier when absolutely necessary
ReplyDeletehmm I'm a bit of both! I love the convenience of the tumble dryer but I love the smell and feel of clothes that's come of the line.
ReplyDeleteLine dry - I love the outdoor smell it gets
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! All very useful and I do love the smell of laundry that has dried
ReplyDeleteoutside on the line.
line dry
ReplyDeleteVery handy, I could do with this! Pole dry is better but I need a new washing line!
ReplyDeleteI always line dry and, if it is raining, hang things up indoors - hanging them on hangers in open doorways works wonderfully well"!
ReplyDeletei prefer to hang clothes on the line but the tumble dryer makes the towels really soft
ReplyDeletewe use an airer as we don't have a tumble dryer or clothes line.
ReplyDeleteLine dry but have to use the tumble drier too often because of bad weather or too much washing : (
ReplyDeleteLine dry its better for my pocket and clothes always seem to smell fresher :)
ReplyDeleteI like to tumble dry things that I like to be soft like towels and socks but I like to line dry everything else!
ReplyDeletehang it outside its cheaper x
ReplyDeleteI'm a line dryer but it ends up over the bath or radiator when it rains
ReplyDeleteHang it outside, it smells lovely!
ReplyDeletedefinitely prefer to line dry it, but this year it's been great fun hanging it out for 5 minutes, taking it in, hanging it out, taking it in, it's a bit like the hokey cokey in, out, in, out, shake it all about :-)
ReplyDeleteI prefer a tumble dryer for convenience.
ReplyDeleteHas to be line dry, every time I have to use the tumble dryer I think ££££
ReplyDeleteA bit of both. I love tumble dried towels as they are so fluffy but clothes are fresh when line dried :)
ReplyDeleteI would prefer to tumble dry but it cost's a fortune so has to be line drying
ReplyDeleteline dry if i can
ReplyDeleteLine dry if weather allows, love the smell and require far less ironing! So easy to shrink items in the drier, although they are great for when people leave damp towels in the bathroom ... In my case two teenagers grrrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteline dry as I don't have a tumble dryer
ReplyDeleteI line dry when at all possible. I keep the tumble dryer use to an absolute minimum!"
